Colorado by Don Lino

Corona

Dominican Republic

6" x 44

Colorado by Don Lino is a special cigar designed for those who seek a satisfying, full-bodied smoke. It is hand-rolled in the Augusto Reyes factory in the Dominican Republic. They’re constructed with 3 year-old Dominican long-filler and binders. Then they are wrapped in a reddish-brown Colorado wrapper. The extended aging process, which is an additional 6 months after boxing, allows this corona to evolve into a very good cigar.

It is a rich, medium-bodied cigar with nice depth, complex flavors, and a creamy character. It is a good tasting cigar that is woody and earth, but is still a little sweet. All of our panel members were impressed with the extremely even burn and perfect ash.

Cupido Criollo Campana

Figurado

Nicaragua

5.5" x 50

The Cupido family of cigar makers, located in the Jalapa Valley, has taken pride in creating what can only be described as the best hand made cigar in Nicaragua. Their secrets of curing and farming premium tobacco have been passed down from generation to generation. The Criollo line of cigars from Cupido made its debut at the 2001 RTDA (Retail Tobacco Dealers of America) show. The Cupido Criollo is fuller bodied than the regular line from Cupido. The wrapper leaves and shapes in this figurado are unique. The Criollo leaf is gorgeous; it is entirely natural with no artificial coloring agents. The wrapper, long filler, and binder were all cultivated in Esteli, Nicaragua. This gives this smoke some real punch, with a balanced flavor and no harshness. It has an earthy, burgundy color, which displays the richness of the fertile, black soil of the region. This is a medium to full flavored cigar that is smooth and well balanced. It has a spicy aroma and smoked cool until the last puff. Try this smoke with a peppermint schnapps on the rocks and you will be amazed.

Diesel Corrosion

Toro

Dominican Republic

6" x 50

This Toro was created by Rocky from the Indian Tabac Company and Augusto Reyes. The Indian Tabac Company is know for producing full-bodied cigars, while Augusto Reyes has an outstanding reputation as one of the finer cigar men in the Dominican Republic. The two of them created a truly unique cigar. Their goal with this cigar was to create a powerhouse of a cigar, yet mellow enough to eliminate any harshness. The filler is Nicaraguan Ligero leaf, wrapped with a dark Brazilian Maduro wrapper. Quite often, a cigar’s strength is associated with harshness. While this is a strong cigar, it is by no means harsh. It is one of the most full-bodied, complex, and powerful cigars that can be found.

La Luna African Fuerte Tusk

Torpedo

Honduras

This is a new release from La Luna. The African Fuerte is the second in the "Fuerte" trilogy from La Luna. This full-bodied blend lives up to its reputation as an intensely strong smoke designed for experienced cigar lovers. The African Fuerte is named for its genuine East Cameroon Kett wrapper, a leaf prized for its rich taste and oily sheen. A Mexican binder and Costa Rican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan filler complete the cigar. It’s a cigar experience like no other - one of the most potent and full-flavored Cameroon cigars in the world.

The Cabinet Series Perdomo Reserve line is Nick Perdomo´s top of the line brand. In our opinion, Nick Perdomo is one of the hottest cigar manufacturer’s in the industry. Perdomo cigars have been receiving outstanding scores from Cigar Aficionado, Smoke Magazine, and Cigar Insider for years. In fact, four of the top fourteen cigars rated by Cigar Insider have been Perdomo Reserve cigars. One puff of this critically acclaimed Perdomo Reserve Rosado and you will definitely understand why they are getting rave reviews. The Perdomo Reserve is blended with Nicaraguan filler and binder leaves, covered in one of the most attractive silky and rich Ecuadorian Rosado wrappers that you have ever laid your eyes on. It is box pressed and aged over 300% longer than usual. The flavor is exceptionally rich with hints of spice and a chocolaty taste. There are earthy, herbal sweet-spicy aromas with a perfect draw. The taste structure is complex, rich and dense, spicy-aromatic with sweet overtones lingering for a long time. This cigar has a concentrated taste without being overpowering, but is also at the same time both delicious and perfectly balanced. It burns even, slow and cool. It's both complex and easygoing, showing flavors such as coconut and coffee. There is nothing more to say except that you will love this one!
